Evangelsim Explosion is a ministry aimed at equipping laity in evangelism and disciple-making skills. There are three aspects of this ministry:

• Evangelizing - Learning to give a clear and concise presentation of the gospel (2 Peter 3:15).
• Making Disciples -Teaching new believers the basic fundamentals of the faith and training more mature Christians to be laborers and equippers (2 Timothy 2:2).
• Assimilation - Making sure new believers in the church know they are welcome and needed in our fellowship (1 Corinthians 12:12-14).

How are all the people trained?
Our evangelism training is a certified ministry with Evangelism Explosion International in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Evangelism Explosion has been implemented successfully in churches around the world. Evangelism Explosion training includes:

• A 10-week commitment to discipleship and witnessing.
• Personal on-the-job training led by a certified trainer.
• In-depth training (requiring some homework) in making a gospel presentation.
• Sharing the gospel with church visitors and other contacts on a weekly basis.

When is Evangelism Explosion Held?
Evangelism Explosion consists of two semesters each year. The spring semester is held from February to May, and the fall semester is held from September to early November. We meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

What Does the Training Include?

• 6:30 - 7:00 PM Lecture for Levels 1, 2, 3.
• 7:00 - 7:15 PM Personal review time with your three person team.
• 7:15 - 8:15 PM OJT (On the Job Training-visiting). Visitation in the community with those who have visited the church, those who have just moved into the community, or those contacted through door-to-door questionnaires.
• 8:15 - 8:30 PM Report Back Time-Teams return to the church to share highlights from visits and pray.

Why Be Involved in Evangelism Explosion?
Evangelism Explosion provides an in-depth practical approach to personal witnessing. Training received can be easily applied as a way of life. Whether in a formal witnessing situation or as a lifestyle, the participant learns how to share the Good News of the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Believers who have been trained testify that it has been powerfully used by God to help them become more confident in sharing their faith. The training has enabled them to personally obey the Great Commission given by our Lord (Matthew 28:19-20).

Who Can Be Involved?
Any adult who is willing to make a commitment to the 10-week training is eligible. The willingness to make soul-winning a priority in your life is a part of this 10-week commitment. There is no cost to be involved with the ministry.
